In this video - In this video I am rolling out some refinements to the CNC boat frame carving process that I trialled in the previous video. I have amended the way the frame is aligned on the machine, checked for accuracy and held down. All leading to a better end result of the process. We also look at how the CNC router tool paths will be altered to get a better finish by reducing the load on the cutter. Here I am cutting a two sided, 3D contour tool path that will cut all of the bevels and notches into the boat frame.
