We are in the Charente Limousine region with Father Laurent Maurin, priest and historian, to visit the Brigueuil citadel together. Built in the 11th and 12th centuries on a rocky outcrop, it succeeded a Gallic oppidum that overlooks the region, offering a magnificent and breathtaking view. We tour the citadel, entering through the East gate and exiting through the West gate, commenting on all the historical buildings we encounter.
