Kenzie’s new life after Gotcha Day

We adopted Makenzie Rose from Ukraine almost 11 months ago. Prior to taking her out of the orphanage at 12 months, she could not hold her head up on her own. She laid in the crib hours on end. She was abandoned at birth due to having the diagnosis of Down syndrome & heart defect. Living in the orphanage she was malnourished, dehydrated, sick, and without the 1 thing that every child needs ... a family! We are so blessed to have added Kenzie to our family and we are so excited to celebrate her 2nd birthday which is coming up in 2 weeks!!!
