In this video, I share my journey to Jamtsholing, Samtse, to witness a proud and unforgettable moment — my sister’s pass-out parade from Gyalsung Academy! 🇧🇹 The atmosphere was filled with pride, discipline, and joy as hundreds of young Bhutanese completed their Gyalsung National Service training. It was inspiring to see the dedication and transformation of these youth, including my sister, as they marched with confidence and honor. 🌟 What is Gyalsung? Gyalsung — The National Service — is a noble vision of His Majesty The King of Bhutan. The word Gyalsung means “The Service of the King” or “The Service of the Nation”. ✅ It is a one-year mandatory national service for all Bhutanese youth who complete 12th grade. ✅ The program aims to nurture responsible, capable, and patriotic citizens. ✅ Young people undergo military training and receive education in key areas such as disaster response, technology, agriculture, and national values. ✅ Gyalsung helps strengthen unity, discipline, and skills essential for nation-building.
