@Harryfconway and I went from London to Liverpool and Manchester looking for Purple Aki before news came out that he had passed away. On this journey we spoke to locals &,random people on the street — everyone had a different story to tell. Some serious, some surreal, some things I’ve never heard online before. After finding out he died, I went back to Liverpool to find out who he really was. I managed to locate where he lived, spoke to neighbours who knew him personally, and learned things about his life that have never been said publicly.
