HiBiT: Unlocking biology in its native context
Andrew Zhang, Senior Strategic Collaborations Manager at Promega, presented at Drafts & Discoveries, a scientific exchange co-hosted by EditCo and Promega in Cambridge, MA. This talk highlights how HiBiT has become an important tool in drug discovery for studying changes in protein expression, particularly in targeted protein degradation. Because endogenous expression is critical for accurately capturing protein dynamics, HiBiT enables more precise measurement of protein behavior in native biological systems. The session also explores applications of HiBiT in degradation workflows and provides a preview of recent advances in understanding cellular target engagement for challenging targets.
