The worst PPG mistake I've made so far | Avery Flies

Pilot error extends to pre-flight activities too. I did not do my due diligence in checking weather forecasts, and I luckily landed about a mile from my LZ. This could've been much worse. I always say, if I mess up on camera, you will see it in a video, so here it is. Don't skimp on your checks and pre-flights, and don't just go because others are going. Check everything, always, and have hard limits in place - then stick by those limits. The other pilot I was flying with took several collapses and at one point was in an involuntary wingover, but recovered uncomfortably low and landed successfully with no damage or injury.
