A team at the Musée de l'Homme worked on him for six months. Pierre-Fernand Ceccaldi ran the forensic examination. Decades later, Sahar Saleem and Zahi Hawass put him through computed tomography. What both teams found in the mouth, and on the spine, has changed what we know about how the longest-reigning pharaoh actually died.
