Parametric design started in the early 90s taking advantage in the computational technology advancements. It started with the Foldism Era . The architects created complexity within 1 surface unlike previous styles where architectural articulation is created by the complexity of shapes then came Blobism and swarmism We are now in the age of Tectonism. A style more mature than the early approaches to parametric design.
