First Spray in the Vineyard 2021 ― Preventative and Systemic

Today was the first spray of fungicide on the vineyard in 2021. The first spray includes both a preventative fungicide (Mancozeb), and a systemic fungicide Myclobutanil. The first spray is done when the shoots are 1" to 3" in length, and most of the vineyard is right at that point. This part of the year the rain and damp weather predominates, and without spraying before that happens, fungus can easily take hold — and once you notice the disease, it's already too late.
