◆Special Guest Kaoru OE Starting violin at the age of five, she enrolled in the Toho Gakuen School of Music Soloist Diploma Course as a scholarship student. She also studied law at Keio University, and after graduating, she completed her studies at the Kronberg Academy in Germany. She has received numerous awards both in Japan and abroad, including third place and the Commissioned Work Award at the 2019 Leopold Mozart International Violin Competition, first place at the 2013 Music Competition of Japan, and the Masuzawa Prize and other awards. She has performed with numerous orchestras, including the NHK Symphony Orchestra, Munich Radio Orchestra, Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra, Kanagawa Philharmonic Orchestra, New Japan Philharmonic Orchestra, and Tokyo Symphony Orchestra. In February 2020, she released her debut CD, "Dvorak: Violin Concerto" (Octavia). It was selected for a special edition by Record Geijutsu magazine. She won first place and the Masao Yoshida Prize at the 19th Japan Flute Convention Competition. She won first place at the Tsukuba Flute Competition in 2018, as well as the Yu Nakano & Nobu Wakabayashi Prize and the Kinji Tobe Prize. She has a track record of winning and placing in numerous competitions, including the Grand Prix in all categories and the Prefectural Governor's Award at the 62nd Kitakyushu Arts Festival Classical Competition. As a soloist, she has performed with numerous orchestras, including the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra and the Yokohama Sinfonietta, under the baton of Kosuke Tsunoda and Kazuki Yamada. She has also made numerous guest appearances with orchestras. She studied at Toho Gakuen College of Music, Toho Orchestra Academy, and Tokyo University of the Arts. She is currently studying abroad at the Ecole Normale de Musique de France in 2021 and 2022 as a scholarship recipient from the Rohm Music Foundation. Graduated from Toho Gakuen College of Music. Completed the university's Graduate School of Music and the Toho Orchestra Academy. She has also performed as a supporting performer with professional orchestras around Japan, and has made numerous media appearances on shows such as the Red and White Song Battle, Countdown TV, and Music Station. Kana runs a violin school with the motto "Anyone, Anywhere, Any Age." Her unique method has taught over 200 students to date.
