We explore a space that many overlook... at the heart of the magically atmospheric Wat Pho. We go underground and venture through the temple's viharas to unveil all 5 "Museum Wat Pho" locations, home to over 1,400 priceless treasures hidden away by time. We will decode history through "living artifacts" preserved for over 200 years—from ancient Benjarong porcelain to a collection of mother-of-pearl masterpieces still used in religious ceremonies today. We also get an exclusive, rare look at sacred Buddha statues that have been closed to the public for over 30 years. Come join me in uncovering the secrets buried beneath the land of the old capital. Admission: Free for all locations! (International visitors can show their temple admission ticket to have it stamped for museum entry.) Transportation: The most convenient way to arrive is by MRT at Sanam Chai Station (Exit 1), followed by a 400-meter walk. Important Notes: Location 1 (The Museum of the Sixth Cycle Birthday Anniversary of King Rama IX) is located in the basement, and all large bags, food, and water must be left at the front counter. Each location is quite far apart; it is recommended to allow plenty of time for walking and to carefully check the opening and closing hours for each spot.
