The incident sparked outrage among netizens after a police officer was recorded hitting the ambulance's window. The incident occurred on Jalan Karet Haji Abdul Jalil, Karet Tengsin, Tanah Abang, Central Jakarta, on Monday afternoon, July 6, 2026. Ironically, as the ambulance attempted to pass through to continue its emergency journey, an escorting police officer became visibly upset and hit the side window of the ambulance. To date, there has been no official statement from the Jakarta Metropolitan Police Traffic Directorate or any related agencies regarding the identities of the officers and the convoy of officials seen in the video.
