That Time I Invented "Drift Whipping" & Caught my PB!

My Uncle-in-Law Scott invited me out to fish for walleye on the St. Clair River. I had been out with Scott once before, and he taught me how to bottom bounce, and I borrowed most of my tackle from him our first time out. This time, I pieced together my own rigs with some spare tackle, and did some bottom bouncing and "drift whipping". Whipping is typically done from a boat that is stationary (or from shore). Since Scott was drifting, I was forced to modify and speed up the technique to compensate, and it paid off with a new personal best walleye!
