Boat Fishing UK takes us offshore from Brighton as we steam out aboard the Quicksilver 640 to fish the legendary Kingmere Reef in search of early season black bream! Located off the Sussex coast, Kingmere Reef is one of the South Coast’s best-known bream marks, made up of rough ground, broken reef and fish-holding structure that attracts species throughout spring and summer. When the bream move in, the action can be hectic! Today we keep it simple with scratching rigs baited with strips of squid, dropping down over the reef and hoping to connect with some hard-fighting black bream.
