"Catch 22" by Joseph Heller, interpreted by Marek Kondrat. "Catch-22" is one of the greatest American novels of the 20th century, and also the most famous novel about World War II. Maintained in the poetics of black humor, it shows the senselessness of war and the army as an institution, ridicules social mechanisms governed by the logic of absurdity. Its heroes are a collection of lunatics, fanatics, idiots and opportunists, but above all, people who want one thing - to survive.
