Engine 502 Large Woods Fire Assist to 59 *Ride Along/Helmet Cam*

Engine 502 responding to assist Station 59 (Refton) with a large woods fire. Engine 502 arrived and put out a small amount of fire burning near the house, and then moved across the field to concentrate on a large pile of wood that was producing a large amount of smoke and proving to be difficult to extinguish. Many other brush and TAC units were arriving on the incident at various spots stopping the spread and extinguishing fires. Once the bulk of the pile was knocked the Engine crew moved further into the woods to extinguish hot spots. At 21:15 you can hear the sound and see a large log landing on the ground after it fell from the top of a hollow tree that was burning on the inside. Willow Street Fire Company. Taken 11/1/24.
