Cops Tased and Arrested Deaf Driver for Not Following Orders
A routine traffic stop turned physical after police failed to recognize that a driver they pulled over was deaf. 26-year-old Brady Mistic got out of his car when police pulled him over, but instead of being met with compassion, the cops tased him and threw him to the ground for failing to comply with orders he could not hear. He says he was beaten during the incident and emotionally disturbed. He ended up spending four months in jail as a result, and charges were later dropped.
