June 3, 2026 Homeless and Housing Task Force Meeting

The Homeless and Housing Task force is the education and outreach arm of the local Continuum of Care. Task Force meetings are free and open to the public and aim to provide an approachable and consistent forum to learn about local programs, policy, the homeless response system and more! This month features Nick Scollard, CE Lead and CoC Specialist, Human Service Coalition Nick will present a general overview of the NY-510 CoC designed to share information about the scope of homelessness in our community, including a look at the 2026 annual Point in Time count data Liddy Bargar, Director of Housing Initiatives, Human Service Coalition. On June 1st HUD released the annual NOFO which includes changes to priorities, new and different eligible project types and other changes. This will be an informal conversation about some of those changes including potential cuts to existing permanent housing projects as well as possible opportunities.
