Causey Pike, Scar Crags & Sail. Lake District 31st January 2019
A walk from The Newlands Valley near Keswick in The Lake District to 3 fells. The walk climbs up Rowling End to Causey Pike (637m) before continuing along the ridge to Scar Crags (672m). We then descend Scar Crags to Sail Pass before heading up the zig zag path to Sail (773m). We descend Sail via the zig zag path and head down the path along High Moss. We had some difficult walking in knee deep snow while heading along the ridge to Scar Crags. Distance is around 5.5 miles.
