There is a structured, free, and prescription-free program to help you intervene early: Therapeutic Patient Education (TPE) for memory, offered by specialized teams in the comfort of your own home. In these excerpts from the March 19, 2026 webinar, Julien Huchet, a state-certified occupational therapist and TPE coordinator at ASSIEL Ancenis, explains how this 7-step program works. 📋 What you will discover: Step 1 — Educational Assessment at Home: An occupational therapist evaluates your situation to determine whether individual or group therapy is most appropriate. Steps 2 to 6 — 5 group sessions of 1.5 hours each • Session 1: Daily Life — finding practical solutions together • Session 2: Understanding Early Memory Problems • Session 3: Motor Skills, Balance, and Fall Prevention • Session 4: Nutrition Adapted to Seniors • Session 5: Communication Between Caregiver and Caregiver Step 7 — Post-Program Home Assessment: A review conducted 2 to 3 months later to measure the changes implemented. Who is it for? Individuals aged 20 to 80 with early memory complaints or the very beginning of Alzheimer's disease — without a major associated diagnosis.
