Jordi González: "Siempre he pensado que la televisión es compañía"

Madrid, April 4 (EFE) - (Images by Raúl García) - Jordi González suffered from a severe stutter in childhood and, curiously, began in the media as a radio host. He joined television at 27, despite the fact that a director who wanted to recruit him, upon seeing him, said: "It's a shame you can't work in television because of your facial scars." Direct, clear, and forceful, he has hosted several of the most prestigious programs in Spain in recent years, and that has caused him more than one disappointment. He likes dogs, watches, and crosses the pond to America every week; he hates watery coffee, rude children, and inept politicians. Jordi González, a true "monster" of communication, has worked on almost every Spanish network. www.efe.com
