The Origin of Bumblebee Man

Some of you probably follow me for my fan-made animatics, which I have been very inconsistent in posting. Most of my time goes into my job as a Character Layout Artist for The Simpsons, so I thought I’d share a little clip of something that I got to do recently. In the recent episode “¡The Fall Guy-Yi-Yi!”, I got to lay out part of the origin of Bumblebee Man! Thanks to director Tim Bailey for helping me along the way, and KC Johnson for embellishing the cactus scene. I wish I could share the rough sketches that I did for this, but thankfully I’m allowed to share this incredible finished animation done by Rough Draft in South Korea.
