I usually find mokcheong while hiking, and after spotting holes in large trees with bees flying around, I go out in the fall to collect them. Even if there's a lot of mokcheong, I only bring back a small amount, about a third of the total. Otherwise, the bees will have nothing to eat throughout the winter and die, leaving no mokcheong for the next year.
