There was something in Tony’s eyes when he talked about the kid that Pepper didn’t think she’d ever seen in Tony’s eyes before. She had no idea what it was or what it meant, but it ignited her interest. Rhodey: He could pretend it was because he missed his friends- which wasn’t a lie. But more than anything, Rhodey was hoping for a chance to (officially) meet Peter Parker.
