Involving children in tending to the garden teaches them new skills, develops responsibility, and increases self-confidence. In her talk, Grace talks about how she helps her Dad grow fruits and vegetables in their backyard greenhouse. She shows us how she gets her hands dirty and lets us in on how she made her own watering bottle. Grace is a sunny and cheerful 7-year-old who loves to spend time outdoors. She wants to help others and be self-sufficient, starting with growing her own fruits and vegetables.
