The Brussels Premetro

Basically is a tunnel crossing the north/south axis of the city with Bombardier Flexity trams running, instead of traditional metro trains. Similar to other Stadtbahn or light rail systems. Tram lines 3 and 4 use this tunnel as a backbone, connecting Midi and North mainline railway stations via the city centre. This creates a frequent service on the centralmost part of the city, where is most needed, and is cheaper than a conventional metro system. Same systems are used in other cities across Europe. In this video we will see some of the T4000 trams running, some clips inside them are included (plus a driver's view, from the rear of the tram)
