I just got back from the U.S. Army Mountain Warfare School in Jericho, Vermont, and let me tell you, this place is unlike any other Army school I’ve seen. Every U.S. adversary has mountains: Russia, China, Iran, North Korea. Even Taiwan is basically jungle-covered ridgelines with no easy way in or out.
