LAMPIÃO COM SANGUE NOS OLHOS MATA EX-CANGACEIRO TRAIDOR

In this dark episode from the northeastern backlands, Virgulino Ferreira da Silva, Lampião, the king of the cangaço, turns his attention to Moreno, a former member of the gang who had abandoned the life of banditry to try to start over as a farmer on the Croatá farm in Alagoas (the first Moreno). Living with his wife Luísa and trying to forget the past, Moreno believed he had left behind the accounts of the cangaço world. But in the backlands of that time, no one escaped so easily. On a full moon night, Lampião's gang surrounds the house. Among the men are well-known figures such as José Sereno and the young Volta Seca. After moments of tension, Moreno decides to surrender to save his wife, trusting in his word—an old law of the backlands. Even so, he is interrogated by Lampião himself in front of the gang and ends up facing the cruel fate reserved for those accused of betrayal. A harsh story, marked by honor, fear, and revenge, that reveals the ruthless face of banditry and the weight of the choices made in that unforgiving backlands.
