Kütahya’da rahvan atlar, birincilik için yarıştı

Approximately 85 horses competed in the traditional rahvan horse races in Kütahya. Athletes from around 20 provinces participated in the event. The traditional rahvan horse races, organized by the Kütahya Rahvan Equestrian Sports Club, were a great success. The races, held at the Kütahya Equestrian Sports Club facilities, attracted significant public interest. Birol Babanoğlu, President of the Kütahya Rahvan Equestrian Sports Club, stated that approximately 85 horses from 20 provinces across the country participated. Stating that they aim to increase unity and togetherness, Babanoğlu said, “In our race, which we describe as a friendship race, we serve rice pilaf, and we can even call it a rice pilaf race.” “WE ORGANIZE THESE RACES TWO OR THREE TIMES A YEAR” Babanoğlu also mentioned that they are preparing for larger races in the coming years and expressed their desire to promote equestrian sports. Stating that there has been great demand from the public, Babanoğlu said, “We want to attract our people here by holding races two or three times a year as much as we can. We have received very positive feedback and thanks from the public. We also thank all our people. Stating that all races were run for the Turkish flag, Babanoğlu said, “We will also give some of the financial support we received from our sponsors as prizes to the participating horses. Currently, we will compete in eight categories.
