We've reimagined the Kubernetes as a Service architecture three times to ensure it can handle updates and increased load. In this talk, we'll explore the journey from simple "vanilla" clusters to the Kube Inception architecture, where the control plane and service components reside in service-based Kubernetes. I'll also show how cluster-manager improves the observability and manageability of clusters deployed by the cloud via cloud-init (and kubeadm), and how AWS-like interfaces have simplified working with Terraform and the AWS CLI.
