Today we're playing Minecraft to explore a theme that's all around us: energy. To explore this topic and the major energy challenges of tomorrow, we brought together content creator @aypierre and Stéphane Sarrade, head of energy programs at the CEA (French Alternative Energies and Atomic Energy Commission). During 40 minutes of gameplay and discussion, they explain: Solar panels: how they work, their lifespan, and how they're recycled Batteries and electric vehicles Nuclear energy and how a power plant works Hydrogen Artificial intelligence and energy consumption Raw materials and critical materials: the hidden challenge of the energy transition The goal? To understand decarbonized energy without jargon, directly within the world of Minecraft, using the Carbon Fighters pack. This episode is the second in our new show: "Gamolab — Science in Action."
