Making Stuffed Eggplant in Nomadic and Rural Life in the Mountains of Southern Iran Early in the morning, a peaceful and beautiful day begins in the stunning mountains of southern Iran. After cleaning the yard of the rural house, the nomadic woman starts her daily chores and spends a day filled with peace, hard work, and simplicity in the heart of nature. After feeding the chickens and little chicks, she goes to the garden to water the fresh organic vegetables and pick fresh herbs for lunch. She also sets aside some of the local vegetables to dry and use in the coming days. For lunch, the nomadic woman prepares stuffed eggplant (Bademjan Shekam Por), one of the traditional and delicious dishes of southern Iran, using fresh and natural ingredients. In nomadic life, everything is deeply connected to nature; from raising livestock and caring for animals to preparing healthy homemade meals with local and organic products. After preparing lunch, she continues with her daily chores, taking care of the guard dogs and the young lambs, and carrying on with the simple and authentic nomadic lifestyle with love and patience.
