Historia del Ferrobus Ferrocarril Nacional de Honduras viaje en tren Tela San Pedro sula Cortes HN

The Honduran National Railway (FCNH) railcar was a two-unit trainset of great importance for passenger transport on the north coast, operating on the tracks of the Tela Rail Road Company and the Honduran National Railway. #coneduardoamador #train #locomotives The Honduran railcar, or railcars, were rail units of the Honduran National Railway that began passenger service in 1962, the year they were imported from Germany by the FCNH. The railcars were barely unloaded and put on the tracks before they began making history. They transported thousands upon thousands of people from 1962 until the 2000s, when politicians who now own bus routes undermined the Honduran National Railway. The National Railway had its tracks and railway in operation since 1870 when, after a scandalous act of corruption, General José María Medina assumed power and ordered the construction of the railway from Puerto Caballos to San Pedro de Puerto Caballos, which is present-day San Pedro Sula. Since the time of the conquest, Puerto Caballos was founded by Gil González Dávila and Hernán Cortés, and its name remained until 1870 when General José de María Medina ordered its name changed to its current name: Puerto Cortés. José María Medina was concerned about the railway because it was a worldwide sensation and a novelty admired by all humankind. At that time, there were no cars, trucks, or buses as we know them today. The idea of driving a personal vehicle as we know them today was unimaginable and inconceivable; they simply did not exist. Personal vehicles appeared at the end of the 19th century, that is, at the end of the 1800s. The National Railway of Honduras's railcars consisted of two identical units, distinguished only by their numbers 201 and 202. These Ferrostal railcars were built in Germany and imported by the FCNH. The National Railway of Honduras began operations in 1870 in Puerto Caballos, as Cortés was then called. The next railway in Honduras was the Vacaro Brothers Company Rail Road, a small line running from the municipality of El Porvenir to La Ceiba in Atlántida. It operated from 1895 until its dissolution in 1922 when the United Fruit Company bought all its shares and converted it into the Standard Fruit Company Rail Road. The Cuyamel Fruit Company was founded in 1910 and was also absorbed by the United Fruit Company in 1929. Before that, in 1912, the United Fruit Company had founded the Tela Railroad Company and the Trujillo Rail Road Company, which lasted until 1930 when it merged with the Standard Fruit Company. until its closure in 1985. The Tela Rail Road Company functioned well until 1983 when it was handed over to the National Railway of Honduras, which politicians destroyed by closing operations in 2003.
