Ibibio Lesson of the Day: How to Say Greetings like “Good morning” and “Good night”
Ufan mmi! (My friends!) I’m on a mission to learn my parents’ native language — Ibibio — and wish to share with my fellow Akwa Ibomites who, too, want to learn useful phrases. In this #IbibioLessonOfTheDay, we go over common greetings such as, “Emesiere/Mesiere”, "Esiere o" and "Mmo kom o” which have some similiarties in their responses "-nde" meaning "back to you/same to you". Hope you enjoy! If so, like this video, comment below what other phrases you’d like to learn, share this video with others and subscribe for more videos like this. Peace and blessings. Akwa Ibom isongo! Ibibio isongo!
