Hello everyone, I'm Han Seung-hyeok from the Korean MMA agency, Pre-Combat. The first official schedule for our highly anticipated 'Brazil Project' kicked off on June 24th. To truly understand and empathize with the grueling travel conditions our Brazilian fighters endure to compete in Korea, I booked the exact same flight route they take. It’s a massive 45-hour journey starting from Busan, heading to Incheon, laying over in Istanbul for 18 hours, and finally arriving in São Paulo, Brazil. The Journey Begins: Starting with a 7-hour bus ride from Busan to Incheon Airport. Istanbul City Tour: After an 11-hour flight, I met up with my friend 'Jackie Chan Junior' to explore Taksim Square and the Galata Bridge. Local Food Experience: Experiencing Turkey's surprisingly high prices while enjoying authentic lamb kebabs, baklava, and traditional black tea. Arrival in São Paulo: Landing after another 14-hour flight, I had to hide my camera and valuables at the airport due to the increasing risk of targeted crimes in Brazil. Meeting Our Partner: Safely arriving at the accommodation in Vila Mariana thanks to Master Paulo picking me up. I'll be spending a week in São Paulo before moving to Curitiba for 3 weeks to cover the intense training sessions of Brazilian fighters and famous MMA gyms in the upcoming episodes.
