🌍 BBAM Festival Vibes in Southampton! 🎶✨ I spent the day at the BBAM Festival in Southampton with my family (and my second family too 🥹🤍) — my sister, nieces, nephews, mum, and auntie — and honestly, this year was even better than the last! The festival was full of culture, music, food, and community love, celebrating African and Senegambian heritage in the most beautiful way. ✨ What you’ll see in this vlog: • My sister’s stall Jolie’s Corner, showcasing stunning Gambian & Senegambian products like bui, churagete, moringa leaves, African batik dresses, and more • The Gambian Society food stall serving up eber, meat pies, kabba (the BEST, trust me 😌), and other favourites • Incredible cultural performances including South African and Senegambian dances, drumming, and the iconic Zimba masquerade • A special shoutout to Auntie Hadi, our Gewel, for blessing us with storytelling and singing • The Gambian ladies looking stunning in their Ashobi, proudly repping the flag in red, white, blue, and green • Non-stop dancing, joy, and togetherness — kids, families, and friends all vibing together 💃🏾🕺🏾 This festival just keeps getting better, and I highly recommend you come to the next one.
