DEBBIE THE WEBSTER SUPER CUP, WOODFORD GLEN SPEEDWAY. ROUND 1 2024

WHEN THE CLAY FLIES, MY EYES OPEN and what an event to open them up with.This was Round 1 of the Debbie the Webster Super Cup for the mighty Super Saloons.Little quick intro of drivers as they enter the track and full on night of great Super Saloon action, all races, including the Pole Shuffle.Spare a thought for one of Woody Glens adopted sons, the long time clay thrasher, that being the mighty 58C of Richie Taylor Racing.I have no doubt in my mind at all, Richie would have been fizzing at the bung to get here, but probably fizzing from the other end. Of all the things too go wrong, Richies Tow Vehicle let him down, down here in Timaru, and had no way of getting the 58C up to Christchurch. Real dam shame as last year he was cranking it, won it but now ol Richie will have to get his backside screenside and watch the action from the comfort of his lounge chair, most likely has a steering wheel and pedals fixed to it lolBut enough of the waffle, i got loads too do, but keep this racing in mind, cos next i think on my agenda is to get Round 2 up, which was run on the Sunday out there in Hazard County, Ellesmere Motor Racing Club, which will say now, epic track, epic venue and great racing... although bit pissed off with my own camera work but cant do anything bout that.So enjoy.... ITS BALLS TO THE WALL, ITS WEBSTER SUPER CUP IN FULL FLIGHT AT THE GLEN!!!
