We Took The Leap...Our First Ever "Investment" Bull!

We are always looking at different ways to grow our operation. This week, we tried something new. We partnered with a good friend of ours, Nate, from Six Diamond Cattle on the purchase of a bull at the Albrecht/Penz Registered Angus sale. Nate found a bull that he really liked. We got a game plan together and Nate was able to purchase the bull for us. We hope he turns out to be a good investment. We purchased Lot 146 Penz Jackpot 4082. We will have him collected soon and will also share this bull between our herds. We also spent some time sorting some of our calves. Over the last month we have weaned about 40 head. We are sorting them into a heifer pen and a steer pen. We will continue to feed these and eventually sell most of them.
