How to Eat Enough Food While Bike Touring
Eating well is so important while bike touring. To borrow an analogy from the motor vehicle world, our stomachs are our gas tanks, and just like with motor vehicles, we can run into all kinds of problems if we let our stomachs run empty. In this video, I share a little bit about how I think about food and eating well on an bike tour overnight to the Anza-Borrego Desert in Southern California. And even still, I managed to make at least a couple of mistakes. There are plenty of options when it comes to cooking gear, and I'm not necessarily recommending what I use, but here are links in case you were curious: MSR WhisperLite International Backpacking Stove (https://www.rei.com/product/830341/ms...) MSR PocketRocket Deluxe Stove Kit (https://www.rei.com/product/153362/ms...) All music and sound effects are from Epidemic Sound.
