In this part of my Fiat Ducato campervan project, I encountered both pleasant finds and truly shocking surprises. I started with the good news: I finally installed the right taillight! I managed to snag it second-hand for half the market price. Yes, it was used, but after a good cleaning and wash, it fit like new—now all the rear lights work perfectly. I also managed to refinish and paint the sill. But the most interesting part came next. When I completely disassembled the body and removed the old plywood from the floor, classic reseller tricks came to light. Instead of living metal, there were tons of foam, putty, and rust all the way through. There was much more rot than I expected. What to do next? The only answer is weld. We can't leave this nightmare behind, because before we can turn this booth into a cozy mobile home, we need to polish the bodywork to perfection. Enjoy!
