After buying a 500bhp Jaguar XFR for £10k, the next step was obvious… take it across Europe. This was the real test. Long hours on the road, motorways, back roads, border crossings, fuel stops, bad weather, good weather, and that constant question in the back of our heads: is this thing actually going to make it? The plan was simple on paper. Leave the UK, cross France, and drive all the way into Spain. No support car, no shortcuts. Just us, the Jaguar, and a lot of miles ahead. Some parts of the trip were smooth, others were tiring, and a few moments definitely had us listening a bit too closely to every new noise. This isn’t a highlight reel or a perfectly planned road trip. It’s what the journey actually felt like.
