NEW ฿1300/$40 Guest House - As GOOD as the Reviews?

​Could this place possibly be as good as the reviews? On Agoda this place currently has a rating of 9.3 out of ten which translates as "Exceptional". Are the reviews accurate? The best way to judge is to see for yourself! I checked into the Banana Guesthouse in Pattaya—a brand new stay that opened up 5 months ago—to see what rooms they had on offer. They showed me various rooms with the cheapest "Standard" room starting around 1,300 Thai Baht (roughly $40 USD) or less, depending on when you stay. My room was the "best" in the hotel, the "Super Deluxe" and cost around double that amount. ​But if you are like me and tired of spending big money on old rooms, this video might be for you. This guesthouse is sparkling clean, modern, and in a fantastic location. ​The Verdict: You don't have to pay high hotel prices to get high-quality comfort in Pattaya. This video shows why. The old days of staying in run-down guesthouses (like those that used to be on Khaosan Road) seem to have gone, and to prove it Banana Guesthouse turned out to be a smart, new, budget choice for short and long stays in Pattaya.
