Haruka Ayase made a surprise visit to Fukushima Prefectural Yumoto High School! She offered encouragement to torchbearer Haruhi Sato, representative of the Coca-Cola brand, and the hula dance club, who will be performing at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Torch Relay Celebration! Coca-Cola Japan, the presenting partner of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Torch Relay, made a surprise visit to Fukushima Prefectural Yumoto High School by actress Haruka Ayase to encourage torchbearer Haruhi Sato, representative of the Coca-Cola brand, and the hula dance club, who will be performing on the Coca-Cola brand-sponsored stage at the Olympic Torch Relay Celebration (an event celebrating the arrival of the torch upon the arrival of the final torchbearer of each day). Sato will run through Fukushima Prefecture on March 26, 2020, the first day of the Olympic Torch Relay, and will perform as hula dance club captain with other members on the Coca-Cola brand-sponsored stage at the celebration venue that day. Today, Ayase suddenly appeared in front of the approximately 450 students from Yumoto High School who had gathered in the gymnasium after hearing there would be a school-wide assembly, causing a frenzy of excitement. Ayase then donned an original Coca-Cola wristband, which went on sale on March 9th, and asked for support from Sato and the hula dance club on March 26th, bringing the event to a successful conclusion. As the presenting partner of the 13th Olympic Torch Relay, Coca-Cola's Coca-Cola brand has selected junior and senior high school students from all over Japan who are passionate about sports and cultural activities as torchbearers. Additionally, the brand has announced the club teams that will perform on the Coca-Cola brand-sponsored stage at the Olympic Torch Relay Celebration (an event celebrating the arrival of the torch upon the arrival of the final torchbearer each day).
