(Short Documentary: Tatana Folktales) a short documentary by Mohd.Hilmi bin Yunus Batu Luang in Kuala Penyu, Sabah, is wrapped in legend. Long ago, newlyweds and their entourage sought shelter in the Batu Luang cave during a sudden storm. As the rain subsided and they tried to leave, the cave entrance closed, trapping the bride inside. Despite their efforts, the villagers couldn't open the cave. A bird appeared, suggesting they "prick the needle" to open the door, but the villagers ignored it. After seven days, they gave up. The bride, accepting her fate, gave her wedding ring to her partner and urged them to move on. Thus, the bride remained forever in Batu Luang cave, a tale passed down through generations.
