Day 12 of our Everest Base Camp Trek was the most emotional and unforgettable day of the entire journey — the day our dream finally came true! ❤️🏔️ Starting from Gorak Shep (5,164m / 16,942 ft), we trekked across rocky glacier trails and freezing winds toward the legendary Everest Base Camp (5,364m / 17,598 ft) — standing at the foot of the highest mountain on Earth. The final stretch tested our strength, breathing, and determination, but every step was worth it. The weather was harsh yet magical — icy winds, freezing temperatures, thin air, and dramatic Himalayan views surrounded us throughout the trail. In May, temperatures around EBC can range from around 0°C to 7°C during the day and drop well below freezing at night. Snow patches, glacier moraine, and changing clouds made the final journey feel truly unreal. Reaching Everest Base Camp was not just a destination… it was the completion of a dream, a battle against altitude, and a moment we will remember forever.
