The 2025 Meishan 36 Turns Challenge starts at Meishan Happiness Plaza, climbing the famous Meishan 36 Turns via Route 102A. The route then ascends Jiayi 154, crosses the mountain peak, and descends onto County Road 166, finishing in Zhuqi Township. Covering 69 km with 1,350 meters of elevation gain, this ride is not only an extreme test of climbing endurance but also a challenge in precision and fluidity on the descents. This ride was a team effort with my fellow CYTO Ride Taipei partners. Together, we embraced the pure adrenaline of cycling—pushing our limits on the climbs and feeling the thrill of speed on the descents. From the heavy breathing on steep inclines to the roaring wind while flying downhill, this ride was truly an electrifying experience.
