Whatever Myriam Fuks wants, she will get it! At the age of 4, awarded that she didn't want to be anything other than a singer, she enter a music contest that she won, even though she was to young to even to compete. Even fate, cannot resist to Myriam Fuks' whims. That is probably why life fulfilled her with opportunities and meetings that led her to the incredible career that she has now. Although she is convinced that she has never done anything special to achieve her dream, she was the one who guide, with audacity and conviction, her lucky star throughout the years. Her huskily voice gives to the Yiddish language a whole different dimension, as you will notice it on today's video. Accompanied on the accordion by one of her dearest friend, André Reinitz, she sings the song "Nashomele" by Lebedeff. Even stronger than a declaration of love, this passionate titel fits perfectly the artist. ------------------------------- Ce que veut Myriam Fuks, Myriam Fuks l'obtient ! A 4 ans déjà, consciente de ne vouloir être rien d'autre que chanteuse, l'artiste participe à un concours, réservé à des enfants plus âgés et remporte celui-ci haut la main. Le destin, lui-même, ne résiste pas aux caprices de Myriam Fusk et ne cesse de semer sur la route de cette dernière une série d'opportunités et de rencontres qui vont mener Myriam vers la carrière qu'on lui connait aujourd'hui. Persuadée de n'avoir jamais rien fait de spéciale pour réaliser son rêve, c'est pourtant elle qui, à la force de sa conviction et de son audace, guidera sa bonne étoile durant toute ses années. Moeder, grootmoeder, overgrootmoeder — allemaal zongen ze. Als kind koesterde ze een droom: Jiddische zangeres worden. Ze was nog maar vier jaar en ze nam al mee aan een zangwedstrijd, die ze hoewel die bedoeld was voor andere kinderen glansrijk won. Het lot weerstaat dan ook niet aan haar grillen. Steevast kruisen nieuwe ervaringen en ontmoetingen haar pad die haar voeren tot de carrière die ze nu kent. Hoewel ze ervan overtuigd is nooit iets speciaal gedaan te hebben om haar droom te realiseren, zijn het haar moed en overtuiging die haar hebben doen slagen als zangeres. Haar stem, uitstraling en passie brengen de perfecte ode aan het jiddische lied "Neshomele" van Lebedeff.
