Bad Wolf Bay (The Impossible Planet, Rose's Theme, The Lone Dalek) - Doctor Who Unreleased Music

20 years ago today, the Doctor and Rose were seperated forever... If you enjoyed then make sure to like and subscribe for more content. However, that version is missing the timpani in the transition between Rose's Theme and The Lone Dalek as he likely just used the album versions. For this isolation, I took the broadcast audio and then transitioned into The Lone Dalek album version. I could have taken the timpani stem and placed it over the cleaner version of Rose's Theme, but I ran out of time. In fact, that is an important issue to note. This was slightly rushed as I wanted to get the video out on the 8th (for those in the UK at least). Working quickly did require me to make changes to the usual isolation process. Bad Wolf Bay is comprised of reused tracks - each of which have arguably become more synonymous with this scene than their original uses. The first couple of minutes features a variant of an unreleased track first heard in The Christmas Invasion and The Age of Steel. Next is a section from 'The Impossible Planet' (a track on the Series 1 and 2 soundtrack) - I can't remember if this plays in the episode of the same name. However, it is worth noting that it is mono in the official soundtrack, whilst my isolation is in stereo as it comes from the broadcast audio. Rose's Theme plays as the Doctor's hologram fades away (having previously appeared in multiple stories throughout Series 1 and 2). Finally, we have The Lone Dalek, which had also previously appeared throughout Series 1 and 2. In my opinion, the soundtrack version suits this scene far better than the use at the end of The Satan Pit, as it perfectly matches the emotions of the Doctor and Rose being seperated forever. Overall, I am reasonably happy with this. There were multiple positives and negatives I encountered in completing this video, so at the very least I have learned quite a bit for uploads. As for the future, I have been working on a couple more tracks from Doomsday, but it could be a little while before the next upload.
