🏕️ 7 Day Trekking in the Palatinate Forest – PART 3 | Steep Climbs, Magnificent Views In the third and final part of our 7-day trekking tour through the Palatinate Forest, we set off in the morning from a particularly beautiful trekking site and begin the last stages of our adventure. Before continuing, we refill our water supplies at a clear mountain stream. With our Katadyn BeFree water filter, we can remain independent on the trail and tackle the next few kilometers. The following days take us to two more trekking sites, each with an overnight stay in the heart of nature. The climbs become increasingly steep and challenging, but the effort is rewarded with ever more impressive views over the forests and rocky landscapes of the Palatinate Forest. Due to the increased risk of forest fires, open fires are unfortunately not permitted during these stages. Nevertheless, camp life is not neglected: As throughout the entire tour, there are freshly prepared meals every evening instead of pre-packaged food, cozy hours at camp, and time to reflect on the day's experiences. On the last evening, we draw a joint conclusion about our week in the Palatinate Forest before tackling the final kilometers back to our starting point the next morning.
